Leafs Get Physical As Jake McCabe Drops A Massive Must-See Hit On Ryan Lindgren

The Toronto Maple Leafs eased their way offensively to a 7-3 win against the New York Rangers, but Jake McCabe delivered a major hit as another blow.

McCabe delivered a strong hit on Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren, laying him out on the ice while stopping their momentum in the Leafs end.

The Rangers got quick retaliation as Mika Zibanejad dropped the gloves with McCabe that nearly led to a full scrap.

Zibanejad was issued a double minor for fighting McCabe, the original hit on Lindgren clean by NHL standards. The Rangers were able to kill off the penalty, but was little consolation in what ended as a difficult loss.
