Corey Perry Engages in a Useless Fight After the Final Whistle

Even as one of the oldest players in the league, Corey Perry hasn't lost his fighting spirit, though his skills might have waned a bit. Last night, he faced a formidable opponent.

Perry Takes on Harpur

During a difficult loss for the Tampa Bay Lightning, Corey Perry attempted to salvage some pride by engaging in a post-game brawl with depth player Ben Harpur.


Perry had already thrown down the gloves once in the game, facing off against Vincent Trochek, but it seemed he still had some fight left in him.

Harpur quickly gained the upper hand, landing several punches and forcing Perry down onto the ice. Thankfully, the referees were on hand to intervene, preventing the 37-year-old veteran from suffering any serious injuries.
