Heartbreak as the daughter of beloved Don Cherry passes away
The entire hockey world in Canada has immense love for Don Cherry, with everyone collectively heartbroken at the passing of his daughter.
The hockey community has supported Don Cherry given his iconic role in the NHL over the past few decades, and not only he but his family have become beloved members of the hockey world. Unfortunately, heartbreaking news was announced on Thursday as the passing of his daughter Cindy Cherry was officially announced.
The passing comes as a shock to all in the family, with Cindy leaving behind her son Del and his father Roger, along with the rest of the incredible family. At 67-years of age, Cindy did plenty of work for the Don Cherry's Pet Rescue Foundation, to which donations can be made in her name, and did a lot of work on the brand of Don Cherry that was so iconic in the world of hockey.
We send our condolences to the Cherry family, along with friends and associates of Cindy, who was beloved by all she impacted, and they will be in our thoughts and prayers going forward.
