Reunion of the Nylander brothers in Toronto: speculation emerges following post
A recent post on Instagram has sparked rumors online that there could be a possible reunion of the Nylander brothers with the Maple Leafs.
William was seen bragging about his brother's strength in the video. He referred to Alex as a beast, possibly indirectly hinting at Leafs management to sign him to a contract, seeing as he is currently a free agent.

Fans believe William wants Alex on his team, as the Leafs could use a little secondary depth scoring, which is exactly what the younger Nylander would provide. It's expected that Alex's salary would come in just under $1 million, per experts.
Alex spent the start of last season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he was later traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Alex had really solid numbers on a poor Columbus team, putting up 11 goals and four assists in 23 games. No doubt he would do even better on a stronger Leafs team.
The Leafs currently have $1.2 million in cap space, so this could be William's final attempt at ensuring the remaining money is wisely spent on his brother.
