This has been a long time coming for one of the biggest scandals that hockey has seen in quite some time, as now court documents have officially revealed charges for the five players involved.
Charges confirmed, Michael McLeod to be charged twice
After plenty of speculation, court documents obtained by TSN have confirmed what all five of the involved players (Dillon Dube, Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, Cal Foot and Alex Formenton) have been charged with.
Also of note in these documents is that McLeod will be charged twice as he faces an additional charge of "being a part to the offence".
All of this will still have to go to court to confirm the players guilt or innocence, with all five confirming they will plead not-guilty to the charges, but for now, their next appearance date will be on February 5, and we will keep you updated with all the latest news on this evolving situation.
