Dubois Officially Out of Winnipeg
Earlier this month, Pierre-Luc Dubois was finally traded out of Winnipeg and signed with the LA Kings.
In a recent interview, he mentioned how happy he is in LA and dissed the Jets.
It's not a secret that Dubois wanted out of Winnipeg for a while now, but we didn't really know why.
His latest comments let us think that he couldn't be who he wanted to be in Winnipeg and that he plans on showing what he's truly capable of in LA.

"Honestly, I think it's just an opportunity for me to be who I am... Now, it'll be a fun opportunity for me to just be who I am. Not show anybody, not prove to anybody, but just fully be me." - Dubois
He obviously feels that the Jets didn't give him enough freedom.
However, later in the interview, he rectified what he said:
"I had three unbelievable years in Columbus, three great years in Winnipeg, where with both of those organizations, I learned a lot and met some unbelievable people."
This is a real opportunity for a fresh start. He had a career-high 63 points last season and will try to step up his game.
Playing on a team with a lot of talented players, in a great city, with a team with spirit will make things easier for him.
