The Leafs took a well earned victory over Tampa Bay last night after being down 4-1, and analyst Paul Bissonnette had quite the reaction to the massive win. The former NHLer turned analyst brought the energy to his post-game panel when talking about the Leafs comeback victory.
Bissonnette Reveals His Allegiances
The Maple Leafs came back to defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning by a score of 5-4, after being down 4-1 entering the third period. The comeback victory put Toronto up 3-1 in the series, and put Tampa Bay on the brink of elimination.

Following the game, the TNT post-game panel discussed the game, and Paul Bissonnette let everybody know how he was feeling.
Bissonnette claims that the Maple Leafs were "dead to rights" entering the third period, and their comeback win potentially could help to usher in a new era for the Leafs. With a team that is out after the first round year after year, the Leafs have the chance to finally change that.
The Leafs have been up 3-1 in the quarterfinal series before, most notably against the Montreal Canadiens in 2021, and that series ended quite unfortunately for Toronto, as they lost in game seven.
