Just recently, it seems almost every report we have been seeing is overwhelmingly positive for Luke Schenn's future with the Maple Leafs. Most reports say he wants to resign but a recent one from David Alter has completely contradicted this sentiment.

Schenn provided excellent defense and physicality for the Leafs despite only putting up two points in 26 games with the Leafs this past season. He is easily worth $2 million and probably more but it will require expert negotiation skills from Brad Treliving to get Schenn signed to a favorable deal.
Otherwise, the Leafs and Schenn will have to part ways which both sides have clearly shown they are not interested in doing.
