The playoffs are starting soon and one of every team's worst nightmare is to loose a key player during the last games of the regular seasons.

This happened to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Head coach Jon Cooper revealed to the media some worrisome news about the new comer Tanner Jeannot.

Jeannot Injured, Will Miss Playoff Time

He suffered an apparent leg injury during last week's game against the Islanders and Cooper gave the bad news that he'll likely miss some playoff time.

Jon Cooper says Tanner Jeannot is «more than day-to-day. Hopefully he'll be back here at some point in the playoffs.»

When asked if he expects Jeannot to miss all of Round One, Cooper said, «I don't want to say that, but I don't expect him to play Game One.»

GM Julien BriseBois paid a hefty price at the trade deadline to acquire him. He sent to Nashville a package including many draft picks and Cal Foote.

Even without Jeannot, the Lightning are a great team and serious Stanley Cup contenders.
