Well, it wouldn't be the Stanley Cup playoffs if fans weren't irrationally upset, and lobbying for rule changes. The latest controversy is brought to us by Panthers defenseman Radko Gudas.
Retired Goalie Thinks Rule Changes Are on the Horizon
Of course there's drama in the NHL, and this time it's surrounding the end of game 5 between Toronto and Florida. The game that sealed the death note for Toronto was riddled with questionable calls, but the lack of officiating towards the end of the game is what made most fans upset.
Former NHL goaltender turned analyst Martin Biron chimed into the discourse surrounding Gudas holding Jarnkrok's stick, and he thinks that change is imminent in the NHL.
