Playoff atmosphere is already at a high level in the series opposing Boston and Florida. Wednesday night, Bruins forward Trent Frederic engaged in a scrum with Panthers forward Ryan Lomberg in which it is alleged the former was choked.

The Department of Player Safety didn't issue any discipline following the game and varying reports cause uncertainty on the incidents. We'll see in game 3 if the Bruins feel they have to police themselves in what is shaping up to be an entertaining series.
No matter what happens on Friday, a certain hatred between the teams is developing which might amount to some great hockey in what was supposed to be a lopsided matchup.
