Former Maple Leaf Makes a Blindside Hit on Jake McCabe Leaving him Bloddied

With less than a minute left in the second period, after a battle for the puck , where McCabe had already threw it away, got on the receiving end of a dangerous hit from Mason Marchment.

Upon returning to his bench, McCabe was visibly upset and quickly expressed his frustration to the referee.

McCabe made his way back to the bench after the hit with blood on his face. He quickly shouted at the ref that he had made a huge mistake.
