Lightning Star Player Goes Down And Stretchered Off The Ice

Today was a big return to the ice for Tampa Bay Lightning star Mikhail Sergachev. Unfortunately for Sergachev, he has suffered another major injury after a big hit. The play in question was a reverse hit from New York Rangers forward Alexis Lafreniere.
After being hit Sergachev went down in agonizing pain grabbing his leg. Sadly a stretcher had to be brought out to take him off of the ice. Reports from in the arena say Mikhail Sergachev was highly emotional when leaving the ice.
The Rangers and Lightning all came out to wish Mikhail Sergachev well. He looked emotional heading off the ice.
As of now, there is not an update on Sergachev's health but he looks to be out for quite a while. We wish Sergachev all the best in his recovery and hope to see him back on the ice soon.
