The Toronto Maple Leafs lost the first game back from the All-Star Break last night against the New York Islanders.

The Leafs played well and it looked like they would win the game, but multiple errors led to a 3-2 loss.
Sheldon Keefe wasn't happy at all after the game and had harsh words for his players.

Sheldon Keefe Says His Players Were at Peewee Level Last Night

In a major statement, the head coach Sheldon Keefe revealed that he wasn't happy at all about the mistakes that were made on the ice, especially the one that led to the Islanders' second goal of the night, where a player left the penalty box and scored on the breakaway.
Check out what he said here:
"We played well enough to win the game, but we did just enough to lose. That is why you lose games.... The second and third goals are gifts," said Keefe of the Leafs' defensive breakdowns.

"It has nothing to do with the point in the year. This is the National Hockey League. That is peewee stuff. It has nothing to do with the season or anything like that. If you play on the power play in the NHL, they should not get behind you coming out of the penalty box."
It is indeed a major mistake for an NHLer. This goal turned out to be what changed the outcome of the game, and Keefe is right. However, that's not he'll get players to like him more.
