Leafs Announce Murray is Out for 6-8 Months
In breaking news, the Leafs announced this morning that Matt Murray is expected to miss six to eight months after a successful hip surgery. Murray was placed on the long-term injured reserve list just a few weeks ago.
The @MapleLeafs announced today that goaltender Matt Murray underwent successful bilateral hip surgery. He is expected to miss a minimum of 6-8 months.
The timeline for return will have Murray miss the majority, if not all, of the Leafs season this year.
