Despite having a quiet summer to this point, NHL superstar Artemi Panarin hasn't been able to stay out of the limelight for too long while spending time at home in Russia.
According to a recent report, we now know that back on July 6, the New York Rangers star had a g*n confiscated by Russian authorities, and was fined for sh**ting it in a place where it was not allowed.

That report also states that the fine for Panarin was 40,000 rubles, or around $400 USD, and the possibility of further legal issues down the line.
There's no doubting that as someone who grew up in the area, Panarin knew better than to be doing this, and even with his status as a superstar athlete, he will be facing the same justice as anyone.
In two months though, Panarin will be back on the ice for the Rangers as they look to go a few steps further than last year and make a Stanley Cup Finals push, so we will see if this effects that at all.
