Corey Perry has been away from the Blackhawks under mysterious circumstances the past several days. Now there is a crazy rumor circulating that attempts to explain his absence. However, this rumor certainly appears to be nothing more that that.

Perry Accused Of Sleeping With Bedard's Mother

Fans have been speculating as to why Perry has suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from the Blackhawks. A post on social media accused Perry of sleeping with Connor Bedard's mother on the team's recent Mom's trip, but the post was quickly taken down. Now speculation has been running rampant.

Most fans seem to agree that these rumors are ridiculous though and they are simply having fun joking about the situation.

Multiple Reputable Sources Deny Allegations Made Against Perry

All of that being said, multiple sources close to the Blackhawks have already confirmed that these rumors are baseless. Charlie Roumeliotis, Blackhawks reporter, confirmed himself that the rumors are not true.



Furthermore, Charlie himself reported that Connor Bedard had no idea why Perry has been missing four days ago.



One would think that if this rumor was true then Bedard would surely know about it. That being said, NHL insider Frank Serravalli does believe that Perry's absence is a disciplinary action from the team. So Perry likely did break some kind of team rule.


However, it remains extremely unlikely that he had sexual relations with Connor Bedard's mom.
