The former Toronto Maple Leafs' head coach Sheldon Keefe may have already found his next NHL team. According to Pierre LeBrun, the New Jersey Devils will be first of several teams to throw their hat into the ring.
I do believe the New Jersey Devils will have interest in interviewing Sheldon Keefe as part of their coaching search.
After the Leafs organization announced that they were parting ways with Sheldon Keefe, it looks like he'll enjoy some well deserved vacation while he waits for calls to come in.

General Manager Brad Treliving released a statement, thanking Keefe for his nine years of service to the organization.
«Today's decision was difficult. Sheldon is an excellent coach and a great man; however, we determined a new voice is needed to help the team push through to reach our ultimate goal. We thank Sheldon for his hard work and dedication to the organization over the last nine years, and wish him and his family all the very best.
Keefe's heartfelt statement where he took accountability, should help him land another job in the NHL.
Even if his two-year contract kicks in this summer, and will get paid by the Leafs until the end of the 2024-25 season, he could get a call to coach another team as soon as next season.
The coaching market will be interesting to follow this summer. Make sure to stay tuned for any development about future hirings.
