The Arizona Coyotes saga may finally be coming to an end after reports emerged earlier this afternoon that the team could be relocating to Salt Lake City next season. Now the players are starting to respond to the news.

Daily Faceoff's Frank Serravalli was the first to report the news. He revealed that the Coyotes have been working on a deal that would send the team to Utah along with an ownership change. However, nothing is done at this moment as there is still a lot of legal work to be done before the move can be finalized.
BREAKING: Sources tell @DailyFaceoff- NHL, Arizona Coyotes & Smith Entertain. Grp have made significant progress on the framework of an agreement to relocate #Yotes to Salt Lake City, Utah.

#NHL memo updated Governors today.

NOT done. Many layers and lawyers. Much work to do.
Since Serravalli's report, other insiders have also come out corroborating the story. Insiders including Elliotte Friedman have made their own posts about the story, confirming that big things are happening for the Coyotes right now.
According to multiple reports, the NHL could relocate the Arizona Coyotes to Salt Lake City as early as next season.
Such a move would have lasting impacts not just on the Coyotes fanbase, but also their players. Arguably, no one will be more affected by this than the players and their families who will be forced to uproot their entire lives in order to satisfy their obligations to the team. According to Craig Morgan, the players are not happy about what is going on, and that may be an understatement.
Craig Morgan on PHNX says players aren't excited about moving to Salt Lake City. «I know that. They're not excited about it.» #Yotes
Regardless of what happens next, it would be ideal if we could finally get some closure for the team. If that means relocation, than so be it.
