Insider reveals massive update in the relocation of the Coyotes
The Arizona Coyotes are on the move. According to Daily faceoff, the Arizona Coyotes & Ryan Smith Entertainment Group have made significant progress on the framework of an agreement to relocate Coyotes to Salt Lake City,
Utah as per a memo sent by the NHL to governors today.
Frank Seravalli dropped a massive update on the relocation of the Arizona Coyotes.
There's still a lot of moving parts to this deal but it seems like the Coyotes run in Arizona which has spanned since 2003 is coming to an end. This will be the third time the franchise is being relocated as they were the original Winnipeg Jets before their stint in the dessert.
The move isn't surprising considering the Yotes have spent the last two seasons playing out of a 5,000 seat Mullet Arena also the home of a college team, the Arizona State Sun Devils. They were forced out of Gila River Arena after they failed to pay their bills. They lost a referendum for a new land where they intended to build the new arena last May.
