Alex Galchenyuk has released a statement regarding his recent arrest and contract termination.
This past week, Alex Galchenyuk was arrested on misdemeanor charges for a hit and run and made violent threats against a police officer.
Today, he released a statement regarding the issue.

Galchenyuk will be entering the Player Assistance Program in an effort to better himself and potentially earn an NHL contract after becoming a better version of himself.
The 2012 3rd overall pick never quite lived up to expectations but has proven to be a solid goal scorer if put in the right situation.
