Gary Bettman Nominated for an Emmy
Gary Bettman, the NHL Commissioner, isn't exactly a fan favorite. Over his 30-year tenure, he has faced plenty of ridicule, with digital board ads being just one of the many reasons. Yet, time and time again, Bettman manages to have the last laugh.
As the hockey season has progressed, these ads have become slightly less bothersome. Nonetheless, they continue to be an eyesore and have frequent malfunctions.
While the vast majority of fans detest the NHL's revolutionary digital board ads, it seems the Emmy selection committee begs to differ.
