Despite all that, hockey remains his driving passion, and he's making a last-ditch effort to rescue his career in the sport.
Brière Jumps Into Transfer Portal
After being expelled from Mercyhurst hockey—his second D1 team expulsion—Carson Brière has decided to take his chances with the NCAA transfer portal, hoping to find a new school where he can continue playing.

Needless to say, Brière may struggle to find a college that's willing to give him a shot, especially since his college hockey record hasn't been particularly outstanding.
The son of the Flyers' General Manager made a reckless choice when he shoved a wheelchair down a staircase at a bar, and now he's justifiably dealing with the repercussions of his actions.
This unfortunate situation could very well mark the end of the troubled young player's career.
