Since their season ended the Toronto Maple Leafs have faced a lot of backlash regarding their loss to the Boston Bruins. Today team President Brendan Shanahan revealed who to blame.

At the end of every season for the Toronto Maple Leafs the blame game begins. Fans and media try to find one or two people to point the finger at. This year it has been Mitch Marner and Sheldon Keefe.
Today during his press conference Brendan Shanahan spoke and decided to place the blame on one person in particular. Instead of picking on his now former head coach or the much-hated Mitch Marner Brendan Shanahan took it on himself.
Brendan Shanahan: "Our results in the playoffs have not been good enough. That's on me."
Now after putting the blame on himself, Brendan Shanahan will need to step up and bring a new dynamic to this group. The firing of Sheldon Keefe was the first step but now roster moves are up next. Many expect a major member of the team's core to be on the way out of town.
The Toronto Maple Leafs offseason will be one of the most intruiging in years. The moves made this offseason could make or break the future of the team.
