Macklin Celebrini is likely to be the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NHL Draft, and now his father has revealed where he wants him to be drafted.

The upcoming NHL Draft is one that's full of intrigue, and while Macklin Celebrini isn't expected to be a talent at the level of Connor Bedard, he still remains the consensus No. 1 overall draft pick. While the team that will draft him at that top pick is out of his control, there's obvious preferences, and now his father has revealed where he would ideally like Macklin to end up.
«It'd be amazing. We talk about it all the time.»

The Golden State Warriors' Rick Celebrini admits that the family is pulling for Macklin Celebrini to get drafted by #SJSharks:
Rick Celebrini is the Director of Sports medicine and Performance for the Golden State Warriors of the NBA, and unsurprisingly, he'd love to be near his son to give support. Unfortunately, as Rick mentions, it's completely out of their hands, with Chicago, Anaheim, Ottawa, Arizona, Calgary, Montreal and others all expected to have significant chances of moving up the board ahead of San Jose.
If they were to land Celebrini however, it would add to a fantastic core that includes Will Smith, Quentin Musty, David Estrom, Colin Graf, Devin Cooley and William Eklund, and would have this team well on their way to a successful rebuild.
