But now, some news completely took us by surprise.
Babcock Spotted at NHL Game
A very observant fan attending the St. Louis Blues game spotted former head coach Mike Babcock in the crowd.
Only a few weeks after he was forced to leave the Columbus Blue Jackets' head coach position following a major controversy, it looks like Babcock still has hockey on his mind.
As you can see, he's even wearing a Blues jersey!
Don't think for a second that this links the former coach to the Blues organization. It seems he was in St. Louis to cheer on his son, who is a member of the Blues' training staff.
Michael Babcock III is currently the skills coach in St. Louis. He previously had the same role with the Ottawa Senators but moved to St. Louis this summer.
