John Tortorella Makes Another Major Decision On Captain Sean Couturier

The Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella took yet another major decision on captain Sean Couturier for tonight's game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

As the Flyers prepare to face the Hurricanes, Torts revealed that Couturier will be healthy scratched for the second straight game.

Captains don't often get sidelined in the NHL. But you never know what John Tortorella's next move is going to be. He wants to win and he doesn't mind taking hard decisions, which is what he did with Couturier.

In a new development, Anthony Di Marco announced that Couturier will miss another game:



After the Flyers won 4-3 against the Toronto Maple Leafs without Couturier, Tortorella wants to repeat that experience. This probably won't sit well with Couturier. We can't wait to see how he bounces back, when he rejoins the lineup.

Even if this gives us more questions than answers, we can't expect the coach to provide any explanations, after Tortorella refused to talk to a reporter how asked him to comment on scratching Couturier the first time.
