Hockey Fans Get A Little Too Competitive
As both the Devils and the Rangers have become more competitive, their intense rivalry has become all the more entertaining to watch. However, the passion of their fans sometimes spills over, resulting in violent incidents.
During a particularly wild series between the two teams, a Devils fan took things too far when he began taunting a Rangers fan. Although the Rangers fan's girlfriend attempted to restrain him, the Devils fan proceeded to knock his opponent's beer out of his hands.
This sparked a physical altercation, with the Rangers fan choking the Devils fan until he lost consciousness. Whether or not the Devils fan deserved it is up for debate, but the incident certainly epitomizes the energy and intensity of this series.
