The Philadelphia Flyers have just acquired two assets from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for David Kase.

Rizzo was a 7th-round pick back in 2019 but has impressed lately posting 46 points in 38 NCAA games with the University of Denver.
Kase has spent the past couple of seasons in Czechia and is the brother of former Hurricane Ondrej Kase.
It is speculated that this was package that the Hurricanes had in place for the Tony DeAngelo trade but the Flyers opted to buy DeAngelo out instead.
