Canadian Sports Analyst Sid Seixeiro Absolutely Slams Toronto After 3-2 Loss

On Friday morning, the Toronto Maple Leafs woke up to the realization that they were down 2-0 in a series they were expected to win against the Florida Panthers.

Despite using excuses such as the Sam Bennett cross-check on Michael Bunting, the Leafs need to take a hard look at themselves, as they failed to finish off the Panthers when they had them down 2-0. Ultimately, the Panthers scored three unanswered goals and won the game 3-2.


This caused Sid Seixeiro, a well-known Canadian sports analyst from Breakfast Television, to express his frustration with the Leafs. He believes that this series is over and is baffled that the Leafs are squandering their best opportunity to win the cup, especially given the number of upsets in the first round.


It's worth noting that the Leafs beating Tampa Bay was one of those upsets, but if they lose this series, that win will have been for nothing.
