Utah's new team officially announces its colours and logo
The new Utah NHL franchise has revealed their colours, logos, and uniforms for the 2024-2025 NHL season, their first as a franchise.
Utah, who gained the franchise after the Arizona Coyotes relocated following the 2023-2024 NHL season, revealed their new uniforms for their inaugural season on Thursday.
Due to a formal nickname for the team being undecided at this point in time, the jerseys will display «Utah» on the front, extremely similar to the jersey's worn by the New York Rangers.
Along with the uniforms, the team revealed the colours and team logos it will use during its 1st NHL season, and stated that the colours will remain the same once a true logo and nickname combo have been revealed.
Although a nickname has yet to be chosen, the team has narrowed it down to six. Utah Yeti, Utah Blizzard, Utah HC, Utah Venom, Utah Outlaws, and Utah Mammoth. The colouring on the jerseys suggest they could leaning towards Yeti or Blizzard, but that is just premature speculation.
As the NHL world eagerly awaits the nickname reveal, the 2024-2025 Utah colours, uniforms, and logos will have to suffice for the time being.
