Heading into the 2024 offseason the Toronto Maple Leafs will be losing one of their most experienced front office executives as Laurence Gilman has left the organization.

The Toronto Maple Leafs continue their organizational restructuring today. After hiring new head coach Craig Berube many believed more changes were coming. The first wave of changes consisted of hiring new assistant coaches.
The Maple Leafs have hired former Islanders head coach Lane Lambert as an associate coach.
Today NHL insider Pierre LeBrun announced that veteran front office member Laurence Gilman has mutually parted ways with the organization.
Hearing that Laurence Gilman has parted ways with the Maple Leafs organization. Mutual decision. His deal expires this month. Veteran hockey executive now on the open market. Should draw interest.
As of now, it is unclear why Laurence Gilman has decided to leave the Toronto Maple Leafs. He is expected to gain interest from several other NHL teams. The Toronto Maple Leafs need to hope that if he finds a home in a new organization he does not expose their offseason plans.
