Who is Jake Guenztel?
Jake Guentzel was selected in the third round of the 2013 NHL entry draft. Since then he has developed into one of the most underrated players in the entire league. He is an important player for the Pittsburgh Penguins because of his crucial and complimentary role as a winger for Sidney Crosby.

12 Weeks Without Jake Guentzel
During the off-season, breaking news is often times either intense or boring. This news today is just straight up unfortunate. After going through ankle surgery, it is confirmed that Jake Guentzel will miss 12 weeks for the Pittsburgh Penguins. This is not only a devastating loss for the Penguins but of course a very tough break for Guentzel who is entering the final year of his $6,000,000 contract signed in December 2018.
