Hall sustained the injury on February 25th during a game against the Vancouver Canucks while the Bruins were on a five-game Western road trip. He was subsequently placed on LTIR, with an anticipated return during the playoffs. However, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic has just provided a major update on Hall's situation.
The 31-year-old Hall has enjoyed a solid season, primarily playing on the third line alongside Charlie Coyle and Trent Frederic. In 58 games, he has recorded 16 goals and 20 assists.
If Hall returns ahead of schedule, the Bruins' medical and training staffs deserve recognition with the '7th Player Award' for their remarkable work in helping every player return earlier than expected.
