Kane Reacts to Nasty Scene at the World Championships

Evander Kane was once again in the headlines after something terrible happened at the World Championship.
During the game between Switzerland and Canada, Joe Veleno kicked Nino Niederreiter on the leg with his skate. No penalty was called on the play.

Kane Speaks Out on Twitter

The Oilers forward was seriously injured during the last season when he was cut on the arm by a skate.

He used this incident as an argument to keep fights in the NHL.
"This is why fighting in Hockey is needed, it discourages ideas like this and helps police the game effectively. Disgusting play to watch. Especially after my injury this year. Embarrassing."
Do you agree with Kane?
