The Toronto Maple Leafs have another tough matchup tonight as they play their final game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Ahead of the game, head coach Sheldon Keefe made some key lineup changes.

Tyler Bertuzzi to return to Maple Leafs Lineup

The Maple Leafs were short handed last night when Tyler Bertuzzi missed the game against the Oilers due to illness. Luckily, the Leafs were not hindered by his absence as they managed to defeat the Oilers 6-3.

We're at $16,600 so far this season!
With tonight's game being the second half of a back-to-back, the team could use some reinforcements. That would help the team maintain their pace as players who did not play yesterday will be ready to give 100% at puck drop. Luckily, that is exactly what is happening. Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe announced that the Tyler Bertuzzi will be in the lineup tonight.

This is not the only lineup change coming for the team either. Keefe also confirmed that Ilya Lyubushkin and TJ Brodie are both returning to the lineup, switching things up on the team's back end.
Keefe tells media in Raleigh that Bertuzzi, Lyubushkin and Brodie all coming back in tonight.
Brodie had previously been a healthy scratch in each of the Leaf's last two games. Keefe stated that the veteran defenseman needed a mental rest. The Hurricanes have proved to be a difficult assignment for Toronto this season. The Leafs have lost each of their two previous matchups against the team, most recently on the 16th when they blew a two-goal lead in the dying minutes of the 3rd period. Tonight they will look to exert a little revenge. Furthermore, a win should give the team confidence in facing the team in the playoffs, which is a very real possibility should the Leafs go on a deep playoff run this season. Hopefully Tyler Bertuzzi will leave an impact on the game in a positive way.
