Paul Bissonnette dropped a bomb on Craig Berube during their chirping match on TNT, jokingly threatening to say Berube's taking over as head coach of the Leafs. He was joking, of course, but let's not ignore the underlying message—Biz seems keen on kicking Sheldon Keefe to the curb after the Leafs' overtime loss to the Boston Bruins in Game 7.

He wants Berube, who led the Blues to Stanley Cup glory in 2019, to take over behind the bench.
Paul Bissonnette just told Craig Berube to stop chirping him or «I'm going to break the news that you're the new Leafs head coach" and I will be spending the rest of the night freeze-frame analyzing Berube's reaction.
Although Berube got the boot from the Blues earlier this season, and yeah, they missed the playoffs, let's not forget his track record. After a stint in the AHL, he swooped back into the NHL and worked his magic with the Blues, clinching that coveted Cup.
Imagine Berube bringing that hard-nosed coaching style to the Leafs. It could be what they need to make a run for the Cup. The 58-year-old even showed he still has what it takes by doing a demo on live TV detailing how the Dallas Stars handcuffed the Vegas Golden Knights offense in their 2-1 Game 7 victory.
