The Toronto Maple Leafs have a lot of tough decisions ahead of them this offseason. Among them is what to do with Max Domi, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent. Today he revealed that he would love to re-sign with the team.

The 29-year-old center was asked about his offseason plans today as the Leafs players gave their end-of-season media availabilities. Of course he was asked about his status with the Leafs, as he is due to become a free agent on July first. However, he did express a desire to re-sign with the team.
Max Domi, pending UFA: "Do I want to come back? Absolutely. I think this team has everything it takes to do something special, and I'd love to help them do that. But it's obviously beyond my control. So, leave that up to my agent and management here."
Domi also noted how it was a 'dream come true' to play for the Leafs. After all, his father is a Leafs legend so he must have felt special playing for his dad's team. Fans got a nice boost of nostalgia with Domi as well.

That being said, the reaction to this news has been mixed. Some fans are excited at the idea of re-signing Domi while others are rather ambivalent to the notion.
Meh....would be nice to get him back.....but totally fine with him walking too.
Get this done Tree! Massive priority!
It will certainly be a unique offseason for the Toronto Maple Leafs. The team could look very different than they did this year with questions surrounding Sheldon Keefe, Mitch Marner, and the team's crop of free agents including Domi and Tyler Bertuzzi.
