The ratings and viewership for round one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Sportsnet were revealed earlier today.
Big ratings for round one were revealed as each thrilling series pulled in great numbers.
Leading the charge are the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs who kept a thrilling series all seven games. There was no shortage of drama as the Leafs went down 3-1 in the series and forced game seven, but unfortunately dramatically lost in overtime.

The Leafs versus Bruins series drew 3.1 million viewers, which clears the next in line by nearly two million.
Next up is a two-way tie in the Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings series with the Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators series. Both drew 1.33 million viewers, the Oilers versus Kings was a short five-game series while the Canucks versus Predators went six games.
These two series were dramatic too, but none had the rich and storied history that the Leafs versus Bruins series had.
Last in line were the Winnipeg Jets and Colorado Avalanche series which went five games. This was quite the anticipated series as Winnipeg swept Colorado in the season series and with their 7-6 football score victory in game one, it seemed like they would go seven games with Colorado.
However, Colorado turned the dial to 12 and dismantled the Winnipeg Jets in five games. This series only drew around 977,000 and was the lowest of the Sportsnet ratings that we know of so far.
