An Exciting Summer Ahead for Treliving

The Toronto Maple Leafs had a tough time in the NHL Playoffs, losing to the Florida Panthers in a quick five-game series after making it past the first round.
Now, with free agency starting, the Leafs have a busy schedule ahead under their new General Manager Brad Treliving. Let's look at some top unrestricted free agents that the Leafs should consider.

Leafs' Offseason Wish List

Jonathan Toews
Toews is a highly accomplished player with three Stanley Cups. He brings leadership and valuable playoff experience. In Toronto, he wouldn't have to carry the entire offensive burden, but he still maintains his offensive skills and a winning mindset.

Tyler Bertuzzi
Bertuzzi could be another valuable addition to the Leafs. He plays a similar style to Michael Bunting and had an impressive playoff performance with the Bruins. While he may not have as prominent a role as he did in Detroit and Boston, his offensive contributions cannot be ignored.
Dmitry Orlov
Orlov is a solid defenseman who could greatly improve the Leafs' blue line. His experience in the league makes him even more appealing. Could Orlov be the missing piece in Toronto's pursuit of success?
Whether these players will sign with the Leafs and live up to expectations remains uncertain for now, but Treliving will certainly consider every option on the table, including Orlov, Bertuzzi and Toews.
