The Pittsburgh Penguins announced today they have promoted former Leafs General Manager Kyle Dubas to their President of Hockey operations and General Manager.
The former General Manager of the Leafs has been trying to make the most of his new tenure with the Penguins. With reports of him targeting Erik Karlsson via trade.
The flourishing Dubas left the Leafs organization during it's hardest off-season.

The Maple Leafs are well into the thick part of the off-season with worries about whether or not they will be able to keep Auston Matthews and William Nylander on their team past this season.
New General Manager Brad Treliving has had a interesting start with having to handle the draft, free agency and taking Ilya Samsonov to salary arbitration.
With the two big fish Matthews and Nylander not having new deals yet and trade rumors surrounding Nylander it has begun to look bad for the Maple Leafs.
