The Toronto Maple Leafs have made a surprising announcement about their upcoming Pride Night, which is sure to leave many fans feeling let down.
Maple Leafs Opt Out of Pride Jerseys
Usually at the forefront of social change, the Toronto Maple Leafs have taken a step back this year by choosing not to wear Pride jerseys. Given Toronto's progressive reputation, this decision comes as quite a shock.
Sadly, the Leafs are not the first team to go down this path.

The NHL seems to be taking a step backward as of late, and this disappointing decision by the Maple Leafs organization is no exception.
