Seattle Kraken Goaltender Loses His Cool and Decks Predators Player in Must-See Video

In a crazy must-see video, Philipp Grubauer of the Seattle Kraken lost his cool during the game against the Predators and laid out Jason Zucker in front of his net.

Grubauer Lays Out Zucker in Crazy Hit in Front of His Net

Goalies aren't often physical, but when they are it always makes a game more interesting. Some of the greatest goaltenders of all time like Patrick Roy are well known for their physicality and craziness, and it looks like Philipp Grubauer is following in their footsteps.

During the game last night, Grubauer decked Jason Zucker of the Nashville Predators in front of his net for seemingly no reason.





There was really no reason for Grubauer to go this far, as Zucker was just skating a bit close. However, it is clear that Grubauer didn't like how close he was cutting it, and decided to take action.

Grubauer and Kraken Struggle As of Late

The Seattle Kraken have struggled as of late, demonstrated by their difficult loss last night to the Nashville Predators 4-1. Grubauer hasn't been all that great for them either, with a record of 10-11-2 while holding 2.86 goals against and a .900 save percentage with one shutout.

With the Kraken well out of a playoff spot, it looks like Grubauer may have been taking his frustration out last night, and Zucker, unfortunately, got the wrong end of the stick.
