Canadiens head coach Martin St-louis has been away from the team for some time now. David Savard accidentally revealed that he was away due to a family crisis involving one of the head coach's sons.
St-Louis' Son In Lineup For USHL Game After Family Crisis
However, fans noticed what could be a positive update on the situation today. One of St-Louis' sons, Lucas, was listed in the lineup for his USHL club, the Dubuque Fighting Saints, for their game tonight against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
On MSL: looks like his son Lucas played last night for Dubuque, hopefully it's a sign that whatever has happened to Mason or Ryan is not life-threatening.

Fans have taken this to be good news for the family as Lucas would likely be with them if the situation was dire. The consensus now is that the situation is not life-threatening, which must be a huge relief for Habs fans.
Lucas went undrafted last year but has essentially doubled his offense in the USHL as a draft+1 defenseman this year. He is by now means big, but at 5'11", height shouldn't be a factor that plays into his NHL projection nearly as much as it did for his dad.
Hopefully all will return to normal again shorty for the St. Louis family. Until then we will keep you updated on this evolving story.
