A Second Kessel Comes to Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh Penguins have had a busy offseason re-structuring their front office. First Kyle Dubas was hired and now a familiar name joins the fold. On Saturday Amanda Kessel was named Special Assistant to the President of Hockey Operations. She is of course the sister of longtime NHLer and former Penguin Phil Kessel.
From Gold Medalist to Front Office Executive
Kessel's new title comes off of the back of her illustrious career in women's hockey. She had over a decade-long playing career which was highlighted by a gold medal at the 2018 Olympic Games for Team USA.
Kessel had previously participated in Pittsburgh's Executive Management Program last spring.
