BREAKING: Flyers Gifted A 2nd Round Pick By The NHL
The Philadelphia Flyers will be gifted a 2nd round pick by the NHL for the upcoming draft.
Flyers To Receive The 51st Pick
Back in 2018, the Philadelphia Flyers selected Jay O'Brien 19th overall. Five years later, he refused to sign with the franchise and had his rights expire a few days ago.
Since Philadelphia failed to sign a 1st-round pick, they will be receiving a compensatory 2nd-round pick which will be the 19th pick in the 2nd round (51st overall).

O'Brien is currently a free agent and can sign with whichever team he pleases.
