Vladimir Tarasenko has reportedly signed a new contract that will see him play for a Canadian franchise.

Tarasenko Signs With Ottawa

A report from Gotham Sports Network shows that Vladimir Tarasenko has signed a new contract with the Ottawa Senators.

While it is difficult to gauge the credibility of this report, GSN covers New York based sports teams and Tarasenko most recently played for the Rangers.

Tarasenko's Fit In Ottawa

The Senators recently moved on from their top sniper Alex DeBrincat opening up room for Tarasenko to come in as their sniper.

He will be playing alongside elite playmakers Tim Stutzle and Claude Giroux as well as other top players Brady Tkachuk, Josh Norris, and Drake Batherson.

Tarasenko will look to be the Senators' number-one goal scorer. He is one year removed from a point-per-game campaign in 2021-22.
