Devils Fire Lindy Ruff, Replace Him With Assistant Coach
The New Jersey Devils made a shocking move today as they fired head coach Lindy Ruff. The team announced that they will be replacing Ruff with assistant coach Travis Green for the remainder of the season.
Green has five years of experience as a head coach with the Vancouver Canucks.
Devils Fans Celebrate Ruff Firing
The Devils were expected to at least make the playoffs this year after a breakthrough season in 2022-23, but things have fallen apart for the team as their playoff chances now sit between 10 and 20% depending on the model. As such, many Devils fans are celebrating this move.
