As per NHL Insider Darren Dreger the Vancouver Canucks have traded forward Tanner Pearson to the Montreal Canadiens.
The details of the trade are still unconfirmed but as it stands Pearson is set to play for his fourth NHL team in his career.
Dreger believes Pearson will be traded for a 3rd round pick and goaltender Casey DeSmith.
Pearson has spent the last five seasons with the Canucks organization, however injuries have plagued him holding him to just 14 games last season.
His best season as a Canuck came in 2019-20 where in 69 games Pearson tallied 21 goals and 47 points.
The 590 game veteran will look to help nurture a young Canadiens squad when he can return to play.
Pearson is still recovering from a hand injury he sustained in November of 2022.
