The Florida Panthers have had difficulty dealing with referees in the past this has prompted Paul Maurice to create signs to remind players how to deal with missed calls.

Missed calls by referees are a part of almost every game of sports at any level. In almost any level of sports, there are also players, coaches, and fans who do not know how to handle missed calls. This seems to be the case for the Florida Panthers this season and their head coach Paul Maurice has found an interesting solution.
According to an interview done with superstar Matthew Tkachuk the Florida Panthers had signs installed on their bench. The purpose of the signs was to reinforce to players to keep their mouths shut when referees make a call regardless of the accuracy of the call.

The signs seem to be working for the moment as the Florida Panthers did not take any unsportsmanlike penalties during Game 2. However, this did not stop them from losing to the New York Rangers in overtime on a goal from Barclay Goodrow.

The Florida Panthers will now rest and recover as they travel back home and will play in front of their fans for the first time in the series. If the Panthers can continue to stay out of the box when it comes to interactions with the referees the signs could end up being a staple when looking at the Panthers bench during Paul Maurice's tenure as head coach.
